The Human Resource Management Association of Martin County (d/b/a "HR Martin County") is an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management.

HR Martin County is home to a broad cross section of some of the area's most talented and dynamic HR practitioners. We are dedicated to our mission by providing programs, tools, and activities that benefit our members both professionally and personally.
The history of HR Martin County began in 1985 when a group of personnel professionals met and formed the Martin County Personnel Management Association as a "meeting ground" for discussing issues related to personnel administration and to meet the professional needs of individuals involved in human resource management. Today, HR Martin County has over 100 professional members from across the Treasure Coast area. In 2010, HR Martin County became a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that allows for all donations to be tax-deductible.
The mission of HR Martin County is to champion the highest professional standards of HR ethics and performance by providing ongoing professional development, resources, networking and support for its members and the community.
What is a 100% Chapter?
An HR Martin County membership is free to those SHRM members who designate us as their primary chapter. All members of this local chapter must be members of SHRM. New members must either be a current SHRM member OR must sumbit a SHRM application along with their HR Martin application. Partnership with SHRM at this level has allowed us to provide a higher level of service and educational resources to our membership. Annual renewal requires each member to submit proof of current, active SHRM membership.
